I related to your favorite poem. I felt the earthiness around my bones. Actually I plan to be cremated, and still this poem applies to me. Knowing whatever I sew in my life touches the future. I like that. I like being part of the next 7 generations.
You know, my mother passed this summer, and reading her collection of family geneaology has given me courage in a way I didn't know I had lacked.
Seeds in my garden are dropping into the soil right now. Some feed the birds and hopefully a few are next springs sprouts.
And so it goes...

Dorcey--I'd love to know how reading your family's geneology gave you courage...?
